I understand that one will usually encounter some issues when starting out on a new OS, but I really never had any problems like this in the past, even when using Migration Assistant. and I can change the IR - but when I press play I get the blue circle which lasts forever and the only way out is to. I can open Altiverb - I get the last used IR screen come up etc. Ive done this for years but there is now a problem. Right now, I'm on the fence, because other plugins seem fine, though the Kontakt Memory Server doesn't want to work in ML right now. A common scenario for me is to use Altiverb as a plug-in with Audition on a Mac running Windows 7 Ultimate. I heard bad things about ML and Logic, but, then, I also heard that everything is OK from other quarters. So, while I'm waiting for a reply from Audio Ease support, I wondered if anyone out there had an answer to what might be happening here,please? It's puzzling and annoying.

In fact I tried downloading Altiverb and the IR installer, to reinstall, but they refuse install in Mountain Lion! I keep getting error messages on both counts.So far, so bad, then.In all other respects Logic seems to be fine, though I haven't actually run it yet but I mean that other third party plugins work fine. NOTE: This is an upgrade from Altiverb 6. In the past this always worked, but not so in Mountain Lion. Its all there, instantly accessible inside Audio Ease Altiverb 7. Specifically, Altiverb ( 6 ) won't work, no matter what I try, and I've done all the usual Audio Ease-recommended "tricks", like opening Logic in 32 Bit and manually getting the AU manager to pass Altiverb. In the past this has always proved successful, but I'm experiencing some problems with Logic.
Put a synth in a cathedral and just be blown away. Sure, there are other, for example Fog Convolver is very nice, but Altiverb sounds so professional and the included IRs are magnificent. I just bought the new 27" iMac and used Migration Assistant to transfer over all my stuff from the old iMac. Altiverb is quite expensive, but you wont regret buying it if you do.
